En till synes produktionsfärdig konceptbil som demonstrerar nästa upplaga av Ford Transit premiärvisas på Genèvesalongen i början av mars.
Plattformen är nyutvecklad och den utvändiga designen anpassad till märkets nuvarande formspråk. Inuti finns åtta sittplatser som kan inordnas i olika arrangemang och vid behov plockas ur. Konceptbilen drivs av en dieselmotor på 2,2 liter och 155 hk som skickar kraften till framhjulen via en sexväxlad manuell låda.
Nästa Ford Transit kommer att säljas både som passagerartransport och renodlad transportbil med olika karossvarianter, effektnivåer och längd på hjulbas. Fler detaljer presenteras senare under 2012.
